Focus and Scope

This journal provides a forum for scholars, academicians, legal practitioners, policymakers, government officials, non-governmental organizations, and observers of law to disseminate original research articles and conceptual studies in the fields of Criminal Law, Private Law, Constitutional Law, Administrative Law, Constitutional Courts, Indigenous and Customary Law, particularly Papuan Customary Law, Legal Pluralism, Human Rights, Environmental Law, and other contemporary legal issues that have not been published elsewhere. The journal particularly welcomes interdisciplinary studies examining the interaction between state law and customary legal systems, with special attention to the recognition, protection, and development of Papuan Indigenous Peoples' customary law and institutions within Indonesia's legal framework.
